This program has been a staple at our centre for many, many years. It’s an important reminder for drivers to slow down, abide by the speed limit, and pay attention to the road.
Our volunteers enjoy working Speed Watch because they can be out there in the open air, interacting with the public. Obviously summer is an ideal time to set up Speed Watch, and so they did yesterday.
For the above session, we set up along Prior St. with the help of Strathcona NPO, Cst. Graham Edmunds.
If you’d like to be out there making a difference, check out our website http://www.chinesecpc.com and see if you have what it takes to become our volunteer!
